Masala Kale Chane Recipe

Ingredients For Masala Kale Chane Recipe

  • Kale Chane – 250gm
  • Tomato- 4
  • Green Chilli- 2
  • Ginger- 1.5 inch
  • Coriander Leaves-Handful
  • Onion- 2
  • Garlic- 15-20
  • Salt- 1.5 tsp
  • Red Chilli pwd – 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric- 1/2 Tsp
  • Coriander powder- 1/2 tsp
  • Garam Masala- 1/4 tsp
  • Hing- pinch of
  • Jeera Powder- 1/2 tsp
  • Refined Oil- 2tbs

Steps For Masala Kale Chane Recipe

Firstly lets see how to boil kale chane for this Masala Kale Chane Recipe

  • Wash chane properly and soak them for 10 hours (overnight). We soak 1 glass of kale chane in 3 glass of water.
  • Now for boiling it we are using same water what we used while soaking, this is to prevent their nutrients.
  • Put water and chane in pressure cooker. With that add half tsp of salt in it. Now close the cooker and keep it on high flame till 4-5 whistles.
  • After 4-5 whistles keep cooker on low flame for half hour. Now off the flame and keep cooker close steam comes out.

During boiling kale chane we can also make its tadka (tempering) side by side.
So lets see how to make its tadka

  • Firstly fine chop garlic and onion. Now make paste of tomato, green chilli and ginger.
  • Put oil in pan and after heating it add chopped onion and garlic in it. Let them turn golden brown.
  • After that add red chilli powder, turmeric, salt, coriander powder (dhania powder), hing and jeera powder to it. Mix them well with garlic and onion. Cook them for 2 more minutes aqnd add tomato, ginger and chilli paste to it.
  • Cook them till tomato juice get evaporated and oil separates from tadka (tempering). Add garam masala and chopped coriander (dhania) to it and mix them will with tadka.
  • Here our tadka for kale chane recipe is ready.
  • In last transfer this tadka to cooker in which we boil kale chane and mix them together. Close the cooker and cook them again till 1 while so that chane can soak flavors of tadka. After that keep cooker close till cooker release its steam and here our masala kale chane is ready to be served.
